Bill Schulz is a singer/songwriter from Green Bay, WI. He has been surrounded by music and musicians his entire life. His parents played in bands when he was a child, sounds from their practice space filled his impressionable ears.
His influences range from Lennon & McCartney and Brian Wilson to Bob Dylan, Hoagy Charmichael, Syd Barrett, Hank Williams Sr, the Jayhawks, Bread, Wilco, Beck, the Velvet Underground, Jellyfish & Chet Baker among many others. He takes the best from classic pop, folk, country, and jazz and makes it his own. To Bill it's really all about a good song.
Bill Schulz has opened for such groups as the Beach Boys, the Violent Femmes, the Bo Deans, Beachwood Sparks, the Posies, Stacey Earle & Mark Stuart, and Zwan (ex-Smashing Pumpkin Billy Corgan's newest emsemble).
